Minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment Hearing
October 14, 2003
Members Present: George Mahnke, Frances Sytek, Harold Davis, Sandy Stone, Lawrence Kelsea and Albion Lyons.
Others Present: Attorney Bernie Waugh, Donna Jordan, Claire Knapper, Donna Caron, Mike Bouchard, Larry Rappaport, Eddie Nash and Susie Nash.
Chairman George Mahnke brought the meeting to order.
Mike Bouchard asked Eddie Nash if he did not allow any loading or unloading on Rte. 3 and placed the light on the electric pole beside his building and positioned it so it lit up his lot not Route 3 would it make it easier for Bonnie Buhay to accept. Eddie shook his head yes and said Susie was supposed to be coming to the meeting.
Larry stated that Mr. Bouchard had filed an application with the planning board and they acted on it as they do other applications.
George Mahnke said the board would recess while it deliberated.
Attorney Waugh said he had put together a write up based on the chairman’s notes and his speaking with the chairman.
George Mahnke then proceeded to read the notes. A copy of which are attached to these minutes.
George declined to vote on the issue, as his property is located across the road from one of Mr. Nash’s properties.
George Mahnke made a motion and Lawrence Kelsea seconded it to approve the site plan. George declined to vote on the issue as he stated at the beginning of the meeting that he owned property on Route 26 across from one of Mr. Nash’s properties. Members approving the motion were Sandra Stone, Frances Sytek, Harold Davis, Albion Lyons and Lawrence Kelsea.
Harold Davis made a motion to adjourn, Lawrence Kelsea seconded it and all others approved the motion.
