Located in the "Great North Woods" area of New England, the North Country offers wide open spaces, natural scenic beauty and tremendous opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast, from the avid fisherman and hunter, to the golfer, photographer, bicyclist, hiker, canoeist and small boat owner.
Colebrooke-Town (Colebrook) was granted to Sir George Colebrooke on December 1, 1770.
Mission Statement: “To promote the enhancement of the unique physical, economic, historical, and cultural, aspects of the downtown area of Colebrook, New Hampshire.”

"North Country Council is the Regional Planning Commission for Northern NH, providing their member communities with services in the areas of Community, Regional, Transportation and Natural Resource Planning, Economic Development and Grantwriting assistance."
The Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, which serves both New Hampshire and Vermont, encourage girls ages 5-17 to develop their leadership potential through activities that enable them to discover their values, skills and world around them; connect with others; and to take action to make a difference in their community and their world.
These steps are achieved with assistance from adult volunteers who help them develop qualities that will serve them all of their lives.

For the motorcycle enthusiast, Colebrook, Pittsburg and the surrounding small towns, with our magnificent lakes and forests, is the ideal "Getaway Destination". The "Annual Great North Woods Ride-in" gives the Motorcyclist a chance to relax, have fun and enjoy our spectacular region. Please join us for this wonderful and unique event. Make it your own personal getaway.
The Swift has approximately 120 miles of the most prestine trails in the North Country. We also have a new warming hut located on trails 5 & 18 which, serves food on the weekends. Also for your convience we have credit card gas pumps which, are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The Colebrook Ski-Bees currently groom 147 miles of multi-use winter trails. Centrally located in one of the most scenic and diversified riding areas in Northern New Hampshire. Come check us out. "Join where you ride."
The North Country Community Recreation Center - year round recreation - indoor pool, playground, seasonal ice rink - open to the public - admission on a donation basis  33 Rec Center Road  look for sign on Route 3  - 2/10 mile north of Route 145 intersection

The Poore Family Homestead Historic Farm Museum and grounds are open for public interpretation from June through to September, hosting a variety of cultural events, concerts and social gatherings.
The Museum is a historic homestead / settlement documenting one families life from the 1830's to the 1980s. The house, barns and outbuildings are all in original condition and reflect their use and era. The feeling one gets when you enter the homestead is to walk back in time, to a time that existed prior to rural electrification of the northern most regions of NH.

This new site offers detailed information and photos of the Kanc
Metallak ATV Club is located in Northern New Hampshire. Our goal is to help connect the the trails of the Northern NH ATV clubs. Part of our trail system includes a trail head at Coleman State Park over Sugar Hill to the Balsams and over Dixville Peaks and Nathan Pond trail connecting to Greenough Pond Road and The Millsfield Club trail system. We have opened the Rail Trail between Colebrook and Stewartstown in 2013 and The towns of StewartstownColebrookand Columbia have decided to open some roads and streets to accommodate ATVs to access area businesses and to connect trails.

Northern Waters in Errol NH are very near Colebrook and offer a variety of different outdoor opportunities. We are a campsite, a kayak school, a whitewater rafting company, and an outfitter shop that also does flatwater canoe and kayak rentals and tours of Lake Umbagog and the surrounding rivers.

Description
The 45th Parallel EMS is the only non-profit regional ambulance service in the state of New Hampshire. We are located in the Great North Woods. The 45th covers five towns in New Hampshire and four towns in Vermont. We get an average of 1,000 calls per year which include:

Auto Accidents
ATV Accidents
Motorcycle Accidents
Snowmobile Accidents
Fire Stand Bys
Medical Transfers
The 45th is comprised of 6 full time EMT's with and 6 intermediates. We also have 22 per diem responders and a chief who all play a vital role in keeping us operational.
The Town of Colebrook has partnered with My Pharmacy Saver to give individuals discounts on their prescription medications.
