Selectmen’s Meeting
2007 March 7
Members Present: Frank Dumaine, Beno Lamontagne, and Larry Rappaport.
Others: Donna Caron, Heidi Lawton, and Jon Frizzell.
Selectmen signed all vouchers and manifests.
The Selectmen and Mr. Frizzell went over the Warrant Articles. Mr. Rappaport mentioned that we got the contract reduced on Article 4 (Digital Mapping). Mrs. Caron changed the amount.
Mr. Dumaine suggested putting in Article 11 that the Town will raise money next year for Disaster Management as well as this year. They would also like the amount to be $20,000.00 instead of $40,000.00 this year. Selectmen will need to amend this warrant article.
Mr. Frizzell mentioned that Article 17, 18, and 19 should be explained together. Mrs. Caron explained that Mr. Rappaport will be speaking on Article 17 and Mr. Dumaine will be speaking on Articles 18 & 19. A cemetery representative will also be there to speak on these matters.
On Article 22, Mr. Rappaport and Mr. Dumaine wanted the amount to be $150.00. The Selectmen will need to an amend the warrant article.
Mr. Lamontagne reminded Mrs. Caron to please check at Lin-Jo Creations for a plaque for the Citizen of the Year Award.
Mr. Lamontagne made a motion to accept the January 24 and February 14 minutes, Mr. Rappaport seconded the motion, Mr. Dumaine agreed, motion passed.
