Selectmen’s Meeting
May 10, 2006
Members Present: Frank Dumaine, Larry Rappaport, and Beno Lamontagne.
Others: Donna Caron, Heidi Lawton, Donna Jordan, Claire Knapper, Kevin McKinnon, Sam Bird, and Dennis Bailey.
Samuel Bird and Dennis Bailey were sworn in as new Zoning Board of Adjustment Alternates.
Selectmen signed all vouchers and manifests.
Robert McKinnon re-submitted a bid for paving of a slab. The bids were as follows:
Bordenaro Bros: $6,550.00 including concrete.
$3,089.40 not including concrete.
Robert McKinnon: $4,664.44 with concrete.
Mr. Rappaport made a motion to award the contract to BM Concrete, Mr. Lamontagne seconded the motion, motion passed.
Mark Popham will be at the next Selectmen’s Meeting.
placeCityClifton Boudle Sr. came in to talk with Mrs. Caron about his sewer bill; it was 38,100 for sewer only. Mr. Boudle would like to have that bill abated because it is never that high. Mr. Rappaport made a motion to abate the sewer bill, Mr. Lamontagne seconded the motion, motion passed.
On Tuesday, June 6, there is an Advanced Workshop for Local Officials in CityplaceLincoln, StateNew Hampshire. Mr. Lamontagne has already been to the workshop, Mr. Rappaport and Mrs. Caron will be attending this.
Attorney Bernie Waugh will be in Colebrook on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 7:00pm.
Mrs. Caron read a letter that was given to Melissa Shaw saying that she received a $300.00 grant from USTA for tennis camp this year.
John Forbes brought in a letter and pictures of his car, which was covered with dirt from the Town sweeping the Town Parking Lot.
Mrs. Caron and the Selectmen reviewed the Budget Sheets.
The Selectmen reviewed an easement for Roger DeBlois.
The Selectmen signed a page that needed to be updated in the Emergency Management Plan.
Mr. Lamontagne made a motion for the court lease to be extended for nine months, Mr. Rappaport seconded the motion, motion passed.
Mrs. Caron gave the Selectmen a contract from Cartographics to review.
Mr. Rappaport made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Mr. Lamontagne seconded, meeting adjourned.
