We are proud to introduce Murphy C. Moose and Molly R. Moose, the new Travel and Tour Directors for the Colebrook Recreation Department.
Murphy and Molly have spent a great deal of time in the Great North Woods. They have been to Moose Alley, Dixville Notch, done the Guided
Moose Tours, and visited a few areas on the other side of the Connecticut River adding to their qualifications.The moose have come to us after they looked for some new work at the First Colebrook Bank but saw they had already hired a moose.
Murphy and Molly found jobs at Citizens Bank helping out. Murphy was in charge of filling the pop bucket and Molly kept the slots full of deposit slips for all the customers to use. They enjoyed their work but saw all the nice people come and go and decided it was time to move on in their occupational endeavors and would like to see and visit many other attractions.
They have now joined up with the Recreation Department as the Travel and Tour Directors. They have started their new positions excited to see what is out there. Murphy and Molly’s responsibilities require them to accompany families on their vacations to ensure a wonderful experience.
Murphy and Molly have a sign out sheet at the Town Office so you will be able to check out their travel calendar to see when they are available and stop in to check out their journals to see where they have visited. The Mascot Moose Program is run through the Colebrook Recreation Department. It is open to any family that would like to take a moose on a family vacation with them. The moose travel light with a backpack and a journal that we ask you record their trip and place any pictures or postcards you may have taken.
The moose, Murphy C. Moose and Molly R. Moose come to us from Citizens Bank. They are very excited about the new adventures that they are going to go on.
