RECREATION LEAGUE BASKETBALL
Boys & Girls grades 1-6
The Rec. League Basketball Program consists of six days of basketball instruction conducted by the Recreation Director and players of the Colebrook Varsity Basketball team. Children are divided into teams based on grade levels and each child is given a team t-shirt. Each session consists of fundamental drills, instruction, and games/activities. It is asked that children bring their sneakers with them and that they be ready to take part at their designated time. Games are played during the last half hour or forty-five minutes of scheduled time.
WINTER LEAGUE BASKETBALL
Boys & Girls grades 3 & 4
Winter League is open to any boy and/or girl in grades 3 & 4 that took part in the Recreation League Basketball Program. The teams take part in various area tournaments as well as a short local playing schedule consisting of the other teams in the area. The program is run by coach volunteers and parents make the commitment to transport their own children to local games and tournaments. The program runs from mid-February to the end of March with the Colebrook Recreation Tournament at the conclusion of the season.
