Summer Summary

- Summer was better than predicted with numbers higher than predicted in most camps.  Expectations for summer 2007 are high. Discussion about how to improve the soccer camps

- Book Clun took the summer off but has started up again with the first discussion October 12th

- Weathervane Theatre Fundraiser went well and would like to have them back next summer

-Will start more detailed camp planning in April

- Clint will give an idea what is wanted for higher levels regarding soccer camps.  Melissa will talk with Rob Wright
HOAP

- The Kick-off is scheduled for October 14th. Survey’s were mailed out to past participants in advance. There will be a one month window for signing up to keep confusion down.

Money
-Budget is over due to the summer camps needing more staff.  There will be a large increase in this area for 2007. The selectmen have been made aware of the over expenditure

-Revolving Fund has not had any expenditures in recent months


-Possible draft of 2007 budget
Travel Team Soccer
-Soccer Season ended on the 7th large numbers on the boys team only 12 on girls team.  Will need to look at what to do for numbers in 2007 for the girls team.

-Tournament had bad weather causing low food sales but over $500 went into Revolving Fund

Other Business
- Board approved Revolving Fund Expenditure for Glow Sticks for Halloween to be handed out to the younger grades at school with a safety message and reminders.

-Discussion regarding skating rink- how to improve, how to better implement, how to get the best out of the area.  Discussion about taking down hockey boards, shrinking size of rink.

-How to get more board members letters were sent out to a number of community members to invite them to be on the board, there may be new members by the next meeting.







- Melissa will talk with Dave Begin to get an idea of options.
