Planning Board Minutes
July 6, 2006

Vice Chairman Edward Carrier opened the meeting shortly after 7 pm.  Board members present were Kevin McKinnon and alternate Sandra Riendeau.  Sandra was asked to sit in for Irene Bean.  Selectman Benoit Lamontagne arrived shortly after the meeting began.

Others present were David St. Germain and Sheila Beauchemin.

Building Permits:

Colebrook Holdings SC LLC – Place a five-foot high (approximately) para-pit wall above the existing canopy and along the top of the wall facing Route 3 to hide roof top equipment on the structure at addressStreet154 Main Street.  Mr. St. Germain explained that the wall will be completed in dryvit and will match or compliment the yellow on the building.  Kevin McKinnon made a motion to approve the permit, conditional on payment of fee.  Sandra Riendeau seconded and all present agreed.  APPROVED - #2006-65

Sue Miller for Old Appletree – Replace 46.3’ x 6’ porch roof and add partial porch floor on the structure located at 75 Route 26.  Benoit Lamontage made a motion to approve the permit; Kevin McKinnon seconded and all present agreed.  APPROVED - #2006-66

Raymond E. Davis -  4’ x 9’ sign, stating “Sunset Storage”, to be placed on the side of the building located at 20 Sunset Drive.  The sign will be illuminated with fluorescent light and will replace the existing sign.  Benoit Lamontagne made a motion to approve the permit; Kevin McKinnon seconded and all present agreed.  APPROVED - #2006-67

Old Business:

Kenneth Magoon has asked again whether Mr. Noyes should be building without a building permit or approval for construction of a septic system.  It was agreed that the Board should send a letter to
Mr. Noyes advising him that it has come to the Board’s attention that he has started construction and no septic design has been received in this office; therefore, would he please attend the July 17th meeting to discuss the matter.

Mr. St. Germain offered the Board members a walk-through to view the progress at the Colebrook Holdings SC LLC building at addressStreet154 Main Street. During the on-site visit, the exterior lighting was noted, along with how the proposed para pit wall approved this evening would be designed.

The following approval for construction of septic systems were reviewed:
Stephen Brungot – addressStreet7 Russell Rd (R12 placeLot 46) (3BR)
Marie Soleil Gueymard – addressStreetAldrich/Angels Rd (R6 placeLot 2-2) (6BR)

The meeting adjourned at 8 pm.
