District Heating Project - Kevin reported on a meeting held in Lancaster, by many regional and local people interested in creating a regional district heating project involving projects in Berlin, Gorham, the Balsams, Mt Washington Resort, Groveton, and Colebrook. An Engineering Study being done for Groveton can be applied to Colebrook, according to Dr Morris Pierce of Rochester University in NY. This working group will be meeting again in January. L Rappaport is also working on the legislation aspect of this project from his NH Congressional seat.
Energy Audits from PSNH - George Abood did Energy Audits in town - on the schools of SAU 7, and the Fire Station and Library. He basically focuses on the biggest energy wasters in his approach. He also went through the Moran house on the basics of what he advises homeowners, with M Whitaker and J Moran. General principles, safety, and large air leaks, were his focus.
PAYT Partner - Karen Ladd from the News and Sentinel approached J Moran about need to publish articles about PAYT. K McKinnon said he would write those, and submit them.
Work commenced on forming the Bylaws.
