CEC Meeting Notes November 16, 2009
Present: Julie Moran, Brian LaPerle, Larry Rappaport, Kevin McKinnon
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M.
A motion was made and seconded to accept the October Meeting Minutes as read. The motion was voted on and passed.
Colebrook Energy Committee sponsored the Expo, and reported results as follows:
Expo Results:
450 people came to the expo, and there were forty exhibitors. The were three no shows: USFWS, Colebrook Manufacturing & Ed Sanders.
16 Door Prizes were offered Key Club did a great job of organizing and awarding the prizes.
Most visitors to the expo came in the morning, it was discussed that next years expo hours should probably be 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Next years Expo theme or title will be “Colebrook Regional Expo”
The Kiwanis Club food trailer was a bust for them; consideration should be given to asking LaPerle’s IGA to do the food concession next year.
Should also get next years Expo date in the Moosely Info Brochure before April 2010.
Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8, 2009
