2005 September Report
We have graveled a road into the Water Company land on South Hill Rd. in preparation of a new burn pit that we will begin using next year. The burn area is also completed for this purpose.
The ditchline on Titus Hill Rd. up to Skyline Drive has been cleaned out. We have gone back to the limits of the roadway and can go no further. The paved portion of the ditch has also been repaved.
Ditching was also completed on Golf Links Rd. and Munn Rd.
The water line on Spring St. has a new 2" valve installed on it at the end of the town ROW. near the gate. This enables the Water Dept. to shut off just that portion of the line if repairs are needed instead of shutting the whole street off.
The landfill project is proceeding nicely. The groundwater extraction wells are being installed at this time. The site is all stumped and topsoil removed.
