Plowing and sanding are the routine for the month. Rain freezing on to frozen road surfaces has made traveling a little tricky at times. The crew have been cutting roadside brush in between storms along with routine maintenance to equipment.
Water meters are all read and bills sent out for both water and sewer.
We are now testing wastewater for Groveton/ Northumberland which will bring in approximately $8000.00 to the sewer department.
We had a visit from the Commissioner of NHDES (New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services) on 11-28-05 for the opening of the landfill site. We are now operating the well wall pumping system and accepting household waste at the site.
