The highway crew have been on road maintenance all month, either plowing or sanding.
The extra lab work in the sewer dept. is working out quite well. We have hired a highschool student for 4 hours per week to help with the lab work. This is in regards to the testing of wastewater from Groveton. See last months report.
Waste is coming in at the landfill daily now, about 10 trucks per day, which is approximately 200 tons each day. Colebrook's garbage from the transfer station is dumped for free of course. The treatment system is working fine and will be turned over to the Town for operation after the first of the year. You will see a new budget under Landfill for this operation next year.
