Marriage Licenses
A marriage license may be obtained from any town or city clerk in New Hamshire regardless of where you live. Once you obtain the license, you may be married anywhere in New Hampshire. Both the bride and groom must appear in person to fill in the marriage worksheet. Please bring proof of identification and age (birth certificate, driver's license). If you were married before, you must present a certified copy of your divorce or annulment decree or death certificate, whichever is applicable.
There is no longer a waiting period before you can be married in the State of New Hampshire. You may be married the day you get the license. there is no blood work required. Helpful hint: Know the state or country of birth for your parents.
The cost for a marriage license is $45.00
