It is a surprise to no one that the revenue generated from motor vehicle registrations has continued to spiral downward. The state of the economy has touched every facet of everyone's life.
The remainder of the revenue taken in by this office remained substantially the same. The following is a breakdown of the revenues turned over to the Treasurer during 2009:
Motor Vehicle Registrations - 346,774.92
Collected, then refunded for overpayment or error - 319.00
Dog Licenses (513)- 3,339.50
*Of this, $1,099.50 paid to Department of Agriculture for animal
control per RSA 466:4
Vital Statistics Abstracts - 3,959.00
*Turned over to the State of New Hampshire
Municipal Agent Fees, Vital Records & UCC's - 11,480.65
Boat Registrations - 957.40
Dog Fines - 50.00
Bad Check Collection Fees - 75.00
Filing Fees - 3.00
TOTAL Turned Over to Treasurer - 366,958.47
