Recreation Update
The Easter Egg Gathering at the Pool is Friday, March 21st at 6:00. The event is open to boys and girls ages 0-8 years old. The cost is $5 per child, $6 after March 19th. The pool will be divided into three sections based on ages and swimming ability with different egg challenges for each group. Call the recreation office to sign up, 237-5086.
The HOAP Tea Party will be at The Balsams Grand Resort once again on Thursday March 20th. The event is at 2:00 and is free to HOAP members and a $5 fee for non-HOAP members. Call Mia (388-4289) or Melissa (237-5086) to sign up for the Tea Party.
If anyone is interested in serving on the Colebrook Recreation Advisory Board, call the recreation office or come to the next meeting on April 2nd at 5:30.
The Book Discussion group is reading “Into the Wild” by Jon Krakauer and meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Colebrook Public Library at 6:30 come join in on the discussion.
The 3rd & 4th Grade Basketball Tournament was over the weekend, congratulations to the Groveton teams for their wins. Colebrook had a co-ed team participating this year due to having low numbers and did an excellent job. Thank you to all the parents for their commitment to the team and donations of baked goodies for the food booth. THANK YOU TORI, CLINT, & ELDONNA.
