PSNH GRANT
Grant Guidelines
PSNH has established a Community Development Grant program intended to stimulate New Hampshire's economic vitality. These grants are awarded to specific municipal, government or non-profit projects and organizations that have a direct positive impact on the economic development of New Hampshire communities. The grants are awarded on a case by case basis over the course of the year based on the following guidelines:
Grant Criteria
Essential elements to be considered for a PSNH grant:
The project is a product of a municipal, government and/or non-profit organization.
The project is an investment in economic development.
The project will enhance economic activity.
The impact will be in PSNH service territory.
The project will create or retain jobs.
The project will ultimately result in increased or retained electric sales.
Elements that are beneficial for consideration:
The project has a high likelihood of success.
The project is of value to the community.
The project has a regional impact.
The results of the project are measurable.
The benefits of the project are long term.
Resources come from multiple partners.
Funding is leveraged or matched.
The local community is involved.
PSNH grants are not:
Charitable gifts.
Short term promotions (brochures, video).
Sponsorships.
Tuition assistance for individual attendance at training or educational programs.
Municipal Street Lighting projects.
Installation of Underground Service.
